Apartment Communities Cleaning

These types of facilities may share groups of residents in separate living quarters but they share many of the same commons spaces throughout the facilities Having someone who can help you proficiently tackle the task of maintenance cleaning in a large facility with multiple common areas and the frequent comings and goings of property managers, facility ownership, and residents and guests is important.

Here is a general list of areas we attend to in these facilities...

Main Lobby and Entry Doors

  • Spot clean door glass, side lights, handles, bright work, and switch plates
  • Empty all waste containers, replacing liners when needed
  • Report any fixtures not working properly, including lights, etc.
  • Clean the heater and AC registers
  • Straighten and wipe clean all furniture
  • Clean customer service desk and refreshments table
  • Sweep and mop all hard floor surfaces
  • Vacuum all carpeted areas including walk off mats
  • Spot clean walls for marks or smudges
  • Dust all horizontal surfaces, ledges, door frames, blinds, and all other furnishings, including picture frames, artwork, etc.
  • Dust all high reaching areas including lights, vents, and grills not exceeding 8 ft high

Elevators and Hallways

  • Wipe clean interior walls of elevators all round
  • Wipes clean the exterior of elevators on each floor including the door entrance framing
  • Clean the door tracks, scrub the dirt, vacuum, and wipe all surfaces clean
  • Clean any items or trash left in hallways
  • Wipe clean fire doors and fire extinguisher boxes, dust, and vacuum behind the fire doors
  • Sweep and mop all hard floor surfaces
  • Spot clean bright work, removing fingerprints and smudges
  • Report any fixtures not working properly, including lights
  • Remove dust, cobwebs, and debris from all surfaces, ledges, pipes, handrails, and all other furnishings, including picture frames, artwork, etc.
  • Dust all high reaching areas including lights, vents, and grills not exceeding 8 ft high
  • Vacuum all edges and corners, including around all furnishings

Offices and Conference Rooms

  • Empty all waste containers and recycling materials, replacing liners, and placing in designated collection containers. (Supplies provided by Property)
  • Sweep and mop all hard floor surfaces
  • Spot clean glass, windows, and walls, removing fingerprints and smudges
  • Report any fixtures not working properly, including lights, etc.
  • Dust all computers, phones, and desk areas free of clutter. Files will not be moved.
  • Vacuum all carpeted areas, check for cobwebs and dust accordingly

Community Rooms and Party Rooms

  • Dust all horizontal surfaces, ledges, door frames, blinds, and all other furnishings, including picture frames, artwork, etc.
  • Wipe off tables and countertops, scrub, and polish sink, and outside of all appliances
  • Clean microwave, oven, Dishwasher, and fridge inside and outside
  • Vacuum, brush, and damp wipe all upholstered furnishings
  • Dust all high reaching areas including lights, vents, and grills not exceeding 8ft high
  • Edge vacuum all carpeted areas and clean any cobwebs
  • Clean all glass doors, windows, sills, and frames
  • Clean cabinetry, wall stains, switch plates and outlet covers
  • Empty garbage, clean trash cans inside out and polish accordingly
  • Organize all furniture, wipe clean tables and chairs
  • Clean television set and wipe clean all connecting cables, remote controls
  • Sweep, mop and vacuum all floors

Mail Room

  • Clean the mailboxes area
  • Clean all tables or counters
  • Empty trash and recycle, container must be cleaned inside out and polished
  • Sweep, mop and vacuum all floors
  • Clean walls, switch plates and outlet covers
  • Dust and wipe down any cobwebs
  • Wipe clean and organize newspaper or magazines stations
  • Report any damages or suspicious activity to management

Common Area Restrooms

  • Empty waste baskets, replace liners, and polish bright works.
  • Refill all soap and toiletries. (Supplied by Property).
  • Sweep and mop all hard floor surfaces.
  • Spot clean mirrors and bright work.
  • Dust, wipe, and spot clean all tile, partitions, and baseboards.
  • Clean and sanitize sinks and toilets.
  • Dust ceiling vents (air diffusers)

Laundry Room

  • Empty all waste containers and replace liners when needed
  • Sweep and mop all hard surfaces
  • Wipe the exterior of washing machines and dryers including doors, rims and seals-as needed
  • Wipe off exterior of vending machine
  • Clean and wipe counters or tables
  • Dust ceiling vents (air diffusers) and light fixtures
  • Dust behind washers and dryers

Refuse/Trash Room

  • Clean inside out of trash chute window and polish accordingly
  • Sweep and mop all hard surfaces
  • Clean wall stains, water drain container
  • Dispose down the chute any trash on the floor
  • Dust ceiling vents (air diffusers) and light fixtures
  • Report any problems noted to management
  • Other duties as assigned by management
